Silo Season 2: What to Expect From the Renewal of the Silo Series
With the 2023 success of the hit sci-fi tv series called ‘Silo’, and plenty of unanswered questions, the renewal of season 2 was inevitable. With the last episode of season 1 depicting a ruined city landscape, what other secrets are there about the history of the setting of Silo. Silo Season 2 Story Details
Considering the first season follows the book series from the start, to be more precise the first book in the Silo Series: “Wool”, it wouldn’t be crazy to expect the next books to become source material for the later seasons. However the second book “Shift” plays as a prequel to the first book and so there are multiple options for the writers. They can take it two ways: make the season a prequel season throughout or take story details from shift and come in and out of flashbacks. However, this is only speculation as the SAG-AFTRA strikes have halted progression.
Big Questions Still Needing Answers To
Even though the audience was shown a setting of a rundown city landscape, the question of what happens to the characters when they leave the Silo? Probably the biggest question to come out of the series, one that has been questioned since episode one, it’s not absurd to see this topic delved into more next season. Another big question is how much is Judicial hiding about the outside world? With these two questions together, expect to see new locations and characters to piece the lost context together.
Unfortunately, there isn’t much more information on Silo Season 2 which is expected to be released in spring of 2024.
